Del disco de 1977, "Memorias", otra de las canciones que toda tonta romántica creía dedicada a ella por el muy guapo Camilo Sesto, pero que en realidad era muy explícita en su petición del acostón rápido y fácil de alguien "de aquí o de allá", pues que más da, que más da, lo que importa es que tenga ganas de amar.

"Yo no nací para amar"

En 1980 Juan Gabriel lanzó su disco más personal, pues en él habla de las diversas experiencias que tuvo en su vida. De este gran disco, una enorme canción maestra: "Yo no nací para amar", con la que se identificaron muchos jóvenes en esa década. A pesar de que actualmente pudiera parecer lastimera, todavía puede calar en las sensaciones y emociones de los adolescentes de hoy.

"Piel de ángel"

Para todos los que en este espacio se han indignado por que ponemos canciones de Camilo Sesto, esta canción es la mas perfecta muestra de que hay una razón para ello. En este portentoso vídeo (porque Camilo canta sin playback) el intérprete dedica esta melodía a la "gente que tiene que amarse de un modo especial, a escondidas, mintiendo al mundo, conociéndose ellos y a esa gente yo les he escrito una canción muy especial Piel de ángel".

"Amor libre", Camilo Sesto

Casi como un susurro es esta muy sensual interpretación de una seducción, por demás polémica y audaz para la época (en la cual no hay duda para quien va dedicada). "Amor libre" de Camilo Sesto.

"Alma de nadie"

Un himno al amor libre, despreocupado y promiscuo, muy acorde a la época.

"Mi verdad"

Mmmmhh, creo que las canciones del verdadero Camilo Sesto son las que son poco conocidas. Como esta.

"Dejarse querer no sirve de nada"

Una canción casi desconocida, pero profundamente reveladora de Camilo Sesto: "Dejarse querer no sirve de nada". Hoy en día sería todo un himno para la comunidad.

Coco "El uno"

Otra canción y video de Coco, integrante del grupo de "Fiesta Plop". Al igual que se famoso "El paragua", éste es un cover de "The one" de Kylie Minogue.

Y me mintió

Daniel Derio, cantante argentino polémico por su registro "muy femenino" de voz. Lanza en 2008 su material discográfico con su versión personal, y totalmente gay, de "El me mintió", sin atreverse a cantarla así y cambiándole el sentido con el ambiguo título de "Y me mintió". Daniel Derio también debe su fama a su ya ventilado romance con Tiziano Ferro.

El ingrato

En el 2006 Gloria Trevi se convirtió definitivamente en un ícono de la comunidad gay. Sector que siempre ha estado con ella en las buenas y en las malas. Del disco "La trayectoria" una rancherita muy sentida y con palabras altisonantes.

Yo soy aquel

Otra canción del Divo de Linares. De 1967 uno de sus más emblemáticos temas: "Yo soy aquel".

Del disco "Cuarto creciente", del año 2005, la canción "Aunque estés con él", del ya declarado cantautor argentino Leo García.

Wake me up before you go go

Un clásico ochentero del dúo pop "Wham", conformado por Andrew Ridgeley y George Michael. Este último se convirtió en todo un ídolo por su talento y apostura física. Sacado del clóset por un lío con la justicia en un intento por ligar a un policía encubierto, George Michael actualmente es un ícono gay. Y no cabe duda que había mucha candidez en los ochenta, porque visto sus vídeos ahora ¿Porqué con esos movimientos y amaneramientos se le consideraba un galán que derretía a las muchachas?

Memorable reunión de dos íconos gays de olvidable pasado bisexual, Elton John y George Michael. George fue el invitado especial de Elton en un concierto de 1991, donde unieron sus talentos para cantar una canción de Elton, que data de 1974, y que fue grabada en vivo para un disco sencillo que se convirtió en un número uno en todas partes.

De su disco de 1987 "Actually", la canción "What have i done to deserve this", en la que se hacen acompañar de un ícono de la comunidad gay, la veterana de mil batallas Dusty Springfield, cuyo clásico "You don't have to say you love" agregamos como un bonus.

Subversion X es un grupo de rock punk muy rebelde y de su primer disco de 1994, que fue una grabación en vivo, la canción "Bonitas palabras"; que no es propiamente gay, pero su significado tiene que ver mucho con la forma en que se ataca al colectivo por los defensores de la moral y buenas costumbres.
